I heard this from my Bible teacher during class one day (I go to a Christian school). Anyway, I thought it was pretty cool.
Do you ever just get so angry at people who seem to enjoy living in sin? Do you think about people like Adolph Hitler or Oskar Schindler and just get mad? Do you see someone treating someone else unfairly or whatever, and just feel like you want to teach them a lesson? I know I have.
However, even though it is those peoples' faults in a way, it's not really their faults. The fault is with the sinful nature inside of them, and inside of everybody. I mean, sure they could choose to let Christ work in their lives, but ultimately instead of getting overly mad at those people, try to see them with compassion. They are trapped by Satan. They, creations of God, have been sucked into Satan's trap because Satan doesn't want to suffer alone for eternity. They've been tricked, lied to, and beat down by Satan.
Its our duty have compassion for those people, and reach out to them. Its our duty to ask God to give us wisdom on what he wants us to do for them whether it be to pray, be a shining light, talk to them, anything. They have been chained down by a sinful nature born to them, and only God can break those chains. Its our duty to love them.
